The summer workshop will be held at Fort Payne Police & 911 Center.   Participants will engage in hands-on learning and real-world discussion before taking part in an immersive tornado disaster tabletop exercise, applying critical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills during a large-scale weather emergency. Whether new to fire and EMS dispatching or seeking to sharpen existing skills, this session delivers practical insight and realistic scenario based training for the console.

We will be presenting the 2026 AL APCO Awards at the awards reception (dinner will be served) on June 4th followed by a day of training on June 5th.

Cancellation Policy

 All registration fees must be received 30 days prior to the first day of the event. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed for any registration after that date and 14 days prior to the event the late fee will be $50.00.

Cancellations made between 30 to 15 days prior to the event will result in a refund of the fees paid minus $25.00 to cover administrative cost. Any cancellation 14 days prior to the event will not receive any refund.
